Wondering about God?

Who is God?  We believe that the God in the Bible is real, that He created everything according to His design, and He wants to have a personal relationship with each of us. He is far greater than we can imagine and yet also an intimate best friend.

How can we know Him?  God tells us that every human being falls short of His perfect standard, and that we must be forgiven of our sins to have a relationship with Him. That is the bad news. But the good news is that God sent His only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sins on the cross, and He is willing to save anyone who will call on His name.

Don’t all religions lead to God?  Jesus said in the Bible, in the book of John, that He is the way, the truth, and the life. That no one could come to the Father, except through Him. Jesus teaches that He is the only way to forgiveness, eternal life, and true salvation. We are not trying to be intolerant or judgmental, but we figure if Jesus said it, then it is true, and that is what we need to live by.
