When is a baby a baby?

That’s a really important question.
We might not want to think it all through but the answer could make all the difference in the world.
 

Consider…
The egg and the sperm unite to form a single cell and this tiny new cell contains all of the genetic information for every detail of this new life…hair color, eye color, gender, fingerprints, height, skin color, and body shape. 

►    From the moment of conception
        The DNA is unique and totally different from the mother’s

►     21 days after conception
         The heart is beating

►     6 weeks after conception  
         Brainwaves can be detected

►     8 weeks after conception
         All organs are present; the brain is functioning, the liver is making blood cells, the
         finger has a fingerprint.
